This Christmas, you can search around the city, looking out for decorated post boxes. It’s a fun and festive day out for families or anybody who is looking to get in some daily exercise during lockdown. The postboxes have been made by volunteers as a fundraising project for two charities. You can find the map and checklist here. Make sure to tag #stalbanspostboxes on your postbox hunt and enjoy your merry day out.

A Tale on Christmas Eve

Choral Vespers on Christmas Eve

The Cathedral will hold a midnight mass on Christmas Eve and Eucharists on Christmas Day, with carols and music sung by the Cathedral Choir.

St Albans Mummers

Since 1967, the St Albans Mummers have performed every year on Boxing day, in various parts of the city. This year, due to lockdown, safely stream the performance on YouTube from the comfort of your own home.
